About Me
De Rogers was born and raised Deanne Barber in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Growing up she was
involved with family and sports. As a matter a fact in 1988 Deanne played in the Softball Little League
World Series in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Her father, George barber, was the coach. After graduating from
Widener University in '95, she became an outreach worker in the city of Philadelphia. In 1997 she
relocated to Rockville, Maryland where she worked with adults with disabilities. She then turned her
complete focus to Gerontology. Deanne has a degree in Social Work with a concentration of
Psychology. She also has studies in higher education. Working with different populations and
diversities of people, she has learned how important communication and personal attention is for an
effective and successful relationship. With this combination she can find the solution to what ever the
need or challenge. After 15 years of practice in the human service field she found herself working with
the most challenging population of all...her own 3 children. It was then she decided to find a profession
in which she could continue to provide help and resources for others and raise her family too. Since
Jay and Deanne have created their own family they have also established their business'.
Jay was born Jesse Rogers in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jay's family moved to Olney in 1976. Growing
up Jay was involved with sports and family. He graduated from Sherwood High School.
Jay has an Associates from Montgomery College in General Studies. He studied for his electrical
license with Metropolitan Association of Electrical Contractors. He worked with a non union company
for 8 years before becoming part of Local 26. He worked for Local 26 for 7 years. After 15 years of
working for companies and unions, Jay felt it was time for better personal service. This is where Jay's
Electrical Services was created. Jay can now provide the person attention that his clients deserve and
complete the job with full satisfaction.
